UNITING A.A. MEMBERS AND GROUPS
Winnebago Land Central Office (WLCO) is facing challenges, and the call for fellow AA members to step up and support is crucial. The AA Hotline, in particular, is a vital service that requires constant attention, and the shortage of volunteers could impact its effectiveness.
Encouraging each group in the area to contribute one new volunteer is a practical and effective way to address the issue. By distributing the responsibility across multiple individuals, the burden on core supporters will be alleviated, and the operations of WLCO can continue smoothly.
If you or anyone you know is interested in volunteering for WLCO or if there are specific ways people can provide financial support, spreading this information within the AA community may help gather the necessary assistance. It's essential to highlight the importance of WLCO and the positive impact it has on the community, reinforcing the idea that collective efforts can make a significant difference.
If you or your home group wish to help save and maintain Your Central Office, please contact us at 920-922-7512 or volunteer or contribute below.
Winnebago Land Central Office (WLCO) is an essential support hub for Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) members and groups in Fond du Lac and the Adjacent Communities. As Your central office, WLCO plays a crucial role in coordinating and facilitating communication and cooperation among individual A.A. groups. The services provided by WLCO include a 24-hour hotline, literature, other services, meetings, and speakers, all aimed at helping A.A. members and A.A. groups to carry the A.A. message to those in need.
The Winnebago Land Central Office Board of Directors meets on the first Thursday of the month (unless it falls between the 1st - 3rd) at 6:00 pm.
